Everyone loves March Madness. You get to cheer on your favorite teams and surround yourself with friends. Skip watching the next game at a bar and host an awesome March Madness party instead! We have some great cocktail inspirations for your party so you can sit back and enjoy the game!

 

Bracket Buster Cocktail

Ingredients –

  • 6 basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup bourbon (peach or regular)
  • 1/2 cup Sprite

Directions –

  1. In a tall glass, add basil, sugar, and lime juice.
  2. Muddle ingredients together with a muddler or long wooden spoon for 30 seconds.
  3. Add bourbon and stir.
  4. Add Sprite. Pour over a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Enjoy.

Clinton Kelly’s Slam Dunk Punch

Ingredients –

  • 2 cup tequila
  • 1 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/2 gallon orange sherbet
  • 2 liter ginger ale
  • 6 ounce frozen orange juice concentrate (optional)
  • Orange slices for garnish

Directions –

  1. Place sherbet and frozen orange juice concentrate in a punch bowl. Allow to thaw for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in ginger ale, tequila and orange liqueur.
  3. Garnish with orange slices and serve.

Bourbon Cat Call

Of course we had to have a cocktail in honor of local favorite, the Kentucky Wildcats!

Ingredients –

  • Ice
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • several mint leaves
  • 4 or 5 blackberries
  • 1 oz of simple syrup

Directions –

  1. Layer ice, 2 oz bourbon, and several mint leaves into a cocktail shaker and muddle.
  2. Muddle mint leaves, blackberries, and 1 oz of simple syrup in the bottom of your glass and add ice.
  3. Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves.
