Halloween means costumes, candy, scary movies and parties!
Whether you prefer your Halloween party spooky or spiked, these cocktails will add just the right touch.
Witches Hat
Your next Halloween party is sure to be a scary-good time when you pour up this festive cocktail!
You will need:
- 2 ounces black vodka
- 1 ounce black Chambord
- 2 ounces dark cherry juice
- ice
- crushed chocolate wafers for garnish
- light corn syrup (optional)
- martini glasses
- cocktail shaker
Yield: 1 cocktail
Directions:
- Dampen the rim of a martini glass. (2 TBS of light corn syrup can be added to the water for better adhesion)
- Dip rim in the crushed chocolate wafers.
- Fill cocktail shaker 2/3 full with ice.
- Pour vodka, Chambord, and cherry juice into shaker & shake about 20 seconds (until cold)
- Strain cocktail into martini glass and serve!

Zombie Cocktail
“Zombie-like” is the last way you would want to describe anyone at your Halloween party (unless they are in costume, of course!). Keep things lively with this cocktail that really packs a punch!
You Will Need:
- 1 oz. light rum
- 1 oz. dark rum
- 1 oz. apricot liqueur
- 2 oz. orange juice
- 1 dash lime Bitters
- 1 oz. Rum (like Bacardi 151)
- orange slice and cherry, for garnish
- ice
- cocktail shaker
- large glasses
Directions:
- Combine light rum, dark rum, apricot liqueur, orange juice and bitters using a cocktail shaker.
- Pour into a large glass filled with ice.
- Top with the shot of rum.
- Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

Smoking Skulls
This cocktail relies on dry ice for an extra eerie touch. It will have your guests going out of their skulls!
You Will Need:
- 1 ounce bourbon
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1/4 ounce grenadine
- splash of Mountain Dew or similar beverage
- dry ice chips, for presentation (optional)
- shot glasses
Important: Remember to be safe with dry ice! Never touch dry ice with bare skin and do not swallow.
Directions:
- Pour bourbon, lime juice and grenadine into a shaker over ice.
- Shake well and strain into shot glass.
- Drop dry ice chips into shot glass and top with Mountain Dew.
Important: Do not swallow dry ice chips (these will sink to the bottom of the glass). WAIT until dry ice has evaporated to consume this cocktail.
